How to avoid illegal recruitment

Due to unemployment situation in our Country, most of us wanted to work abroad to find a greener pasture. But we should bear in mind and watch our step not to be a victim of illegal recruiters.


Here are some tips:

1. Do not apply at recruitment agencies not licensed by POEA.
2. Do not deal with licensed agencies without job orders.
3. Do not deal with any person who is not an authorized representative of a licensed agency.
4. Do not transact business outside the registered address of the agency. If recruitment is conducted in the province, check if the agency has a provincial recruitment authority
5. Do not pay more than the allowed placement fee. It should be equivalent to one month salary, exclusive of documentation and processing costs.
6. Do not pay any placement fee unless you have a valid employment contract and an official receipt.
7. Do not be enticed by ads or brochures requiring you to reply to a Post Office (P.O.) Box, and to enclose payment for processing of papers.
8. Do not deal with training centers and travel agencies, which promise overseas employment.
9. Do not accept a tourist visa.
10.Do not deal with fixers.

Showtime on its Grand Finals

Philippine Showtime (ABS-CBN)variety show grand finals was held at the Ynares Center in Antipolo hosted by Vhong Navarro and Anne Curtis.

The 1st grand finals champion is from General Santos City, Mindanao group "XB



Gensan" went home with 1 million pesos cash price.
It can be recalled that the group was eliminated but was given another chance to prove their talent during the Wild Card Round.
As Vice Ganda ( one of the judges) "never use your failures yesterday as an excuse for you not to do better and strive more today".

Graffiti Motion was not included in the grand finals due to plagiarism issue. Showtime held a wildcard week in which XB Gensan and Boyz Unlimited Dancers are tied after the both groups got a perfect 10 scores and is included in the Showtime’s official list of grand finalists.

Adobe Flash plugin has crashed?

I experienced this Adobe flash plugin problem after I upgrade my mozilla browser to the latest version (3.6.6). I update the plugin as well but still the crash occur. I tried this http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/The+Adobe+Flash+plugin+has+crashed#Disable_hang_protection. Now it seems working fine.
