Miss Philippines 4th runner up ....(Im proud to be Pinoy)
Jimena Navarrete from Mexico is crowned Miss Universe in Las Vegas. First runner-up is Miss Jamaica, while Miss Australia, Jesinta Campbell, is second runner-up.
Miss Phil. when asked by Judge number two Mr. William Baldwin "What is the biggest mistake that you’ve ever made in your life and what did you do to make it right?", Venus Raj replied
"Thank you so much Sir for that wonderful question, good evening ladies and gentlemen, good evening Las Vegas you know what Sir, In my 22 years of existence I can say there is nothing major major I mean problem that I have done in my life . Because I am very confident with my family, with the love that they are giving to me. So, thank you so much that I am here, thank you thank you so much."
And that was the biggest mistake she ever made.
Somebody paraphrased her answer as "In my 22 years of existence, I am thankful that there is nothing that I may consider a big mistake... thanks, to my family who have guided and supported me well. There might however be some minor setbacks along the way but the fact that I am here right now is proof that I have triumphantly worked it out." .. I like the way she paraphrased
****Smart people find it hard to answer because no one wants to admit their biggest mistake in public. So be prepared for this question.protect thyself.. for me secret. next question please!!!..
Raj is not the only one who has struggled with that question. Everyone from presidents to job applicants have struggled with their response.
President George W. Bush was asked to name his biggest mistake in an interview.
"Mmm... I wish I, you would have given me a, this written, a question ahead of time," the president coughed out.

Jimena Navarrete gave an answer to judge Evan Lysacek's question about unsupervised Internet use that many feel helped her secure the crown. She replied:
“I do believe that Internet is an indispensable, necessary tool for the present time. We must be sure to teach them the values that we learned as a family.”
